What ages do you teach?

1

Kids and teens ages 8 to 16, all skill levels welcome, from first-time sewers to kids who already know their way around a machine.

What will my child actually make?

2

Every student chooses their own project. Rather than assigning a set piece by skill level, we let kids pick something they're excited about, whether that's a tote bag, a scrap monster, a drawstring bag, a skirt or shorts or something else, and build the skills they need along the way.

Projects:

  • Drawstring bag

  • Tote bag

  • Scrap monster

  • Stuffies (plushies)

  • Hanging art supply holder

  • Quilt block

  • Shorts

  • Zipper pouch

  • Pillow cover

  • Shorts, skirts, pants and dresses

  • Patchwork or mini quilt

Do you assign projects based on skill level?

3

No. Projects are chosen by the student, not assigned by ability. A total beginner and a more experienced sewer can be working on completely different things in the same class, at their own pace.

What's included in class?

4

All supplies are included, machines, thread, and fabric. Your child just needs to show up ready to create.

When are classes held?

5

Tuesdays 3:30–5:30pm and Saturdays 10am–12pm at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Upland, CA.

Will you offer sewing classes for adults?

6

Yes, tuesday nights 6-8 coming soon. Please message me if there is another day or time you prefer?

What is your cancellation policy

7

To keep things fair for every family in our small classes, refunds are available if you cancel at least 3 days before your child's first scheduled class. Once enrolled, we ask that you commit to attending the full session, since our small group sizes mean we're not able to offer makeup classes for missed sessions.
