Hi, I'm Jill! I'm a designer and maker with over 18 years of experience in graphic and digital design, trained at FIDM, and I've had a lifelong love of creating things with my hands. I founded Citrus Workshop to give kids and teens a place to build real skills, patience, and confidence through sewing and craft, one project at a time.
My teaching philosophy is simple: scaffold skills step by step while creating an encouraging, positive, and supportive learning environment along the way. I've run sold out sewing camps and workshops for kids ages 8 to 16, and I bring the same care to every class at Citrus that I bring to my own design work.
When I'm not teaching, I'm usually sewing something for myself to wear, curled up with a good book, listening to music, or trying out good food around town. I live in the Upland area with my husband, two kids, and a dog who are (unofficially) my toughest craft critics.
