Cancellation Policy: To keep things fair for every family in our small classes, refunds are available if you cancel at least 3 days before your child's first scheduled class. Once enrolled, we ask that you commit to attending the full session, since our small group sizes mean we're not able to offer makeup classes for missed sessions.

Kids & Teens 
Sewing Classes

In this hands-on class, kids will learn the basics of sewing machine operation and safety in a fun, supportive environment. Once comfortable at the machine, students choose their own project from our curated selection, so every class feels personal and rewarding. Projects vary in skill level and time to complete, some students will finish their project in a single class, while others may need to return for an additional session to complete a more involved piece.

We recommend booking a few classes to get the most out of the experience, this gives kids time to build their skills, work through a project at their own pace, and try something new each visit.

By the end of their project, kids walk away with something they made themselves, plus a new skill they can build on.

  • Hanging art supply holder

  • Quilt block

  • Shorts

  • Shorts, skirts, pants and dresses

  • Not at all! Classes are designed for beginners, though experienced young sewers are welcome too.

  • Just themselves and their creativity! All materials and machines are provided.

  • Classes are designed for kids and teens ages 8-16.

  • Classes take place in Upland, CA, in a warm and comfortable space set up just for hands on learning at St. Mark’s church library.
